Amboyna-ended Non Pareil
A delicious little instrument with glass buttons and engraved gilt fittings - and complete with its original amboyna case - which recently went to a new home in France.
Amboyna Non Pareil
Aren't these finger slides lovely?
Amboyna Non Pareil
Oops! I forgot to take a picture with the new gold-tooled straps fitted!
New Model treble
Lachenal's top model before the introduction of the 12-sided Edeophone, and in my opinion, it does everything as well as the Eddie, except for rolling off tables.
Tenor/treble Edeophone
Top of the Lachenal tree, and deservedly so.
Amboyna tenor/treble Aeola
A gorgeous instrument from Chris Algar's collection. I refinished the ends, which were badly worn.
Crabb Crane Duet
As nice a Crane as you could wish to find, and complete with history and photographs from the North London Concertina Band, with its Crabb associations.
Tenor/treble Wheatstone Aeola
Amboyna Non Pareil
The inside story of a glass-buttoned box.
Lachenal Edeophone treble
40-button Lachenal Anglo
These bigger Lachenals are harder to find, but it's worth looking.
Wheatstone MacCann Duet
Probably not the original strap arrangement, but a lovely player.
